The Meals on Wheels People could not exist without the help of more than 500 volunteers every weekday. Our volunteers help prepare and serve meals to seniors in 35 different meal centers throughout Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties, as well as deliver nearly 3,000 Meals on Wheels to homebound elderly.

NEW! Meals on Wheels drivers are needed for two upcoming holidays - Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27, and Independence Day, July 4. If you are interested, please contact Caroline at caroline.henry@mealsonwheelspeople.org.
Hillsboro Center is seeking Meals on Wheels volunteers! We need 10 drivers for Mondays and Fridays. Interested? Contact Elly at 503.648.2950 or email elly.ritchie@mealsonwheelspeople.org.

Needed! We’re looking for volunteer Walk With Ease leaders! You must be willing to commit to a six-week walking program and lead seniors on a route of your choice beginning and ending at a specified Meals on Wheels People center. We’ll provide the training. Rockwood Center is expanding its service to include Meals on Wheels delivery beginning in July. They have openings for Meals on Wheels drivers, kitchen volunteers, dining room servers, dishwashers and hosts. Shifts availalble daily, weekly, monthly.Teams welcome! Interested? Ridgefield Center needs one volunteer to deliver frozen meals once every two weeks. Pick up meals on Tuesdays at Ridgefield Community Center. Interested? Call Sandi at 360.567.7670.

Battle Ground Center is adding an additional Meals on Wheels delivery route and needs volunteer drivers. Volunteer once a week or once a month for about 90 minutes on weekdays. Interested? Call Jackie at 360.666.9158.

All centers seek talented musicians to perform before the lunch hour. Shifts are available from 10 a.m. to noon on weekdays. Volunteer once a week, once a month, or give it a try before you commit.
