Since 1970, the Meals on Wheels People has provided a hot, nutritious meal to every senior in need of a meal. We have never turned away a senior and have never had to institute a waiting list. How do we do it? It's because generous community members have always stepped up to provide the financial support and the volunteers to ensure that no senior will go hungry or experience social isolation. Most of the senior nutrition programs in other parts of the country are not so fortunate.
The need is growing in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area and, with the help of an extremely supportive community, we continue to meet the need. Please consider making a gift today and continuing our community legacy.
